Your journey to Tux

On the Intal motorway A12 take the Zillertal exit. Follow the main road B169 to Mayrhofen. From Mayrhofen the L6 Tuxer road will take you to Vorderlanersbach and therefore directly to your Private Homes.

Tips for your journey:

  • Road easily passable all year round
  • In case of large amounts of fresh snow: Chains may be compulsory
  • Motorway A12: vignette compulsory (buy online)

The nearest railway station used by the express trains is Jenbach in Tyrol. From here you can take the Zillertalbahn (railway) to Mayrhofen. From Mayrhofen take the bus to Tux /Vorderlanersbach.

Your car also deserves a break from everyday life. Park it conveniently in our underground car park and say “goodbye” for the next few days. Because during your holiday in Tux you can reach everything on foot or conveniently by public transport, cable cars and hiking taxis.

 

  • Tux sports bus (365 days a year), from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Hintertux-Gletscherbahn, free or charge with the Tux-Finkenberg Ticket
  • Nightliner (in winter), runs between Finkenberg and Hintertux until 2.30 am, for a fee
  • 4 cable cars in Tux-Finkenberg, valley station of the Rastkogelbahn (only in operation in winter) only 2 minutes’ walk away

Yes, the nearest ski bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment suites. In summer, the hiking bus conveniently takes you to the best starting points for your tours in the Zillertal.

From the Private Homes, you can reach the Rastkogelbahn in just a few minutes, your gateway to the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 – with direct connections all the way to Mayrhofen. The Horbergbahn, Finkenberger Almbahn, and Hintertux Glacier are also easily accessible.
 

In summer, the surrounding cable cars take you directly to the hiking and biking paradises of the Zillertal Alps.

In our Private Home garage, we have two electric charging stations where you can charge your car for a fee.

The clearance height in the Private Homes underground garage is 2.15 m.
