The Rastkogelbahn cable car takes you directly to the Zillertal 3000 ski and glacier resort, which boasts 206 kilometres of slopes. The ski area stretches from 1,500 m to 3,250 m and can be accessed with a single ski pass.
The Private Homes are situated at an altitude of 1,257 metres. The Hintertux Glacier is open 365 days a year and offers 100 per cent guaranteed snow, including a glacier circuit with 62 km of runs and a vertical drop of 15,000 metres.
Yes. The access point to the cross-country ski trail is just behind the apartments. A 14-kilometre classic and skating trail runs from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madseit; a further 14 kilometres of skating trails are available in Juns and Madseit, plus a 2-kilometre high-alpine trail near the Höllensteinhütte.
There are 68 km of groomed winter walking trails and two floodlit toboggan runs in the Tux area. Snowshoeing and ice skating are also available.
A heated ski and drying room is available for guests staying at Private Homes. There is a ski hire shop nearby, the sports bus down in the valley is free of charge, and the first ski bus stop for the Hintertux Glacier is right next to the house.
